Research and Academic Experience:
|
Ever since I started my career in the US as a resident in Internal Medicine, my passion and commitment to the field of Haematology and Medical Oncology have increased with each passing year. I have committed myself to scientific research with a passion for the innovative molecular spectrum of pathology. With the excellent mentorship from my attendings, I was able to pursue numerous research projects many of which culminated in publications in many peer-reviewed journals. I have successfully published and edited multiple research articles including abstracts, case reports, observational studies, and review articles in the field of Internal medicine more specifically in Haematology & Medical Oncology. My work on COVID-19 including retrospective data analysis of my hospital, has gained tremendous recognition in the research world. I was the Core committee member of the Research Body for OBHS and successfully conducted annual interhospital research events including OBHS Research Day. I am actively helping and mentoring students and residents in writing and editing manuscripts. To continue with this pursuit of gaining knowledge I am currently working as a clinical fellow in Haematology & Medical Oncology at OBHS (Brookdale Hospital) and am involved in multiple research projects including community-based observational studies and clinical trials. |
